Battle Drones
Battle Drones features an exciting combination of aerial acrobatics with an engineering design challenge that will teach students STEM concepts, teamwork, and hoe to skillfully fly a drone. In Battle Drones, teams of students will build robotic launchers designed to fling projectiles at their opponents' drones. Students will be guided by experienced camp instructors in how to construct their launchers to maximize speed and accuracy. The camp will culminate in an epic battle where students will need to pilot their drones to safety by dodging opponent projectiles while using their own launchers to take down opponent drones. The best drone pilots and launchers will emerge victorious! (For students entering grades 3rd – 8th). Instructor: Ryan Swanson

- TIME: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM (Grades 3-8 | 2024-25)
- LOCATION: Urbandale Middle School - Room 209 (7701 Aurora Ave)
- DEADLINE TO REGISTER: June 19, 2024
- FEE: $99.00 ($104.00 after June 19)
- Optional Fee: $50.00 | Students can choose to bring their drone home for an additional cost.
