FITNESS PROGRAMS

Performance U

Performance U will be a blending of philosophies and training modalities from both Speed U and Strength U classes.  Classes will consist of two times per week, with an emphasis of linear and lateral speed, agility, change of direction, plyometrics, explosive power and overall strength. (For Boys & Girls, entering grades 3rd – 8th).  Coach:  Pete Traynor – UHS Director of Strength and Conditioning and Staff.  PARTICIPANTS: PLEASE BRING A WATER BOTTLE and wear regular tennis/running shoes (NO cleats or spikes).

 

  • TIME:  5:00 PM - 5:45 PM (Boys / Girls - Grades 3-8 | 2024-25)
  • LOCATION:  Urbandale High School- Performance Lab (7111 Aurora Ave). Please meet here each day.
  • FEE:  $100.00 / participant 

Boot Camp

Boot Camp classes will consist of varied intensity, full body workouts focused on functional movements, interval training and aimed at increasing overall strength and conditioning levels. These workouts will consist of upper body, lower body and core exercises in a circuit training program that will allow for training efficiently and maximizing both time and energy. Classes will be focused on helping strengthen and tone muscles, lose body fat and burn calories! No previous workout experience is needed, and all fitness levels are welcome! Classes will be led by our certified coaches and any and all modifications will be made to allow individuals to be safe and successful. (For Adults - Ages: 18+)Instructor: Pete Traynor (Director of Strength and Conditioning) and the training staff.

  • TIME:  5:30 PM - 6:30 PM (Adults 18 and older)
  • LOCATION:  Urbandale High School- Performance Lab (7111 Aurora Ave). Please meet here each day.
  • FEE:  $210.00 participant TUE / THUR / SAT | $180.00 participant 2 sessions a week.
