Team J-Hawk Wrestling Program (PK-6th Grade)
PK - 2nd Grade Program: Urbandale Middle School
Membership is open to all area students from pre-kindergarten through 2nd grade. All members will be taught the fundamentals of folk style wrestling through simple instruction and repetition. Our primary goal is to help kids acquire a love for the sport and master the basic wrestling skills. During practice, we will provide a learning atmosphere and develop team camaraderie. We will minimize the focus on winning, while stressing technique, effort and sportsmanship.
3rd - 6th Grade Program: Urbandale Middle School.
This program is designed for the more serious minded wrestler with more emphasis on competition and winning. Advanced techniques with more emphasis on live wrestling and match conditioning will be implemented.

- 2 Practices per week, over 25 practices throughout the season

TEAM J-HAWK WRESTLING PROGRAM:
- DATE: Mondays, Tuesdays (two days because of Holidays), Wednesday (one day because of conferences and state wrestling meet) and Thursdays. November 18, 2019 - February 27, 2020
- TIMES:
- 5:30 PM - 6:15 PM (PK-2nd Grade Program)
- 6:30 PM - 7:45 PM (3rd-6th Grade Program)
- LOCATIONS:
- Urbandale Middle School - Wrestling Room
- Urbandale High School - Wrestling Room (Only on December 2, December 5, December 19, and January 23)
- DEADLINE TO REGISTER: November 11, 2019 at 6:00 PM (Singlet must be ordered by November 11, 2019.)
- FEES:
- $50.00 - PK - 2nd Grade
- $50.00 - 3rd - 6th Grade
- $42.00 - Singlet Competition Attire (Recommended, but not Required) Orders after November 11 will not be accepted.
- $14.00 - AAU Card (Required for some tournaments)
