J-HAWK SKILLS BASKETBALL CAMP
J-Hawk Skills Basketball Camps are a great way to introduce your young athletes to the sport of basketball. These sessions will foster the fundamentals of the game, physical fitness, gross motor skills, and the importance of team play. In this fun-filled, positive and encouraging environment the participants will work on individual skill development and compete within their age groups in various skill competitions (dribbling, passing, shooting, and defense). This learning experience will become the framework for them to build on for future improvement and success. (For Boys & Girls, entering grades K – 6th, maximum 40 participants each session). URBANDALE BASKETBALL COMPETITION CAMP:
Variations of 3v3 and 5v5 basketball games, intended to help players improve their skills while playing games. Expect 10-15 minutes of skills, 10 minutes of shooting and 60 minutes of 3v3 and 5v5. We’re focusing on basic basketball fundamentals, competition and communication. (For athletes, Boys & Girls grades 4th – 8th).
