Lacrosse, now the fastest growing sport in the United Sates is here in Central Iowa. Lacrosse is a contact sport without the collisions. It is a fast paced high energy sport that kids love. This league will meet for 8 weeks the first 2 will be practice only. The following 6 will have practice 1 day a week and games on Fridays. This league requires: Helmet, Gloves, Lacrosse Stick, Mouth piece, Black athletic shorts, tennis shoes or rubber cleats. Helmets & Gloves available for rent, but are limited. Lacrosse Stick included with registration fee. Team Jersey will be issued before first game and returned at the last game of season.
Equipment for the League will need to be rented from Skyhawks for $60 (limited availability, first come first serve) or purchase equipment from the flyers. For equipment rentals, please call the Skyhawks office at 515-289-1440.
Practices will be on Tuesdays, June 25 - July 23. Games will be Fridays, June 28 - July 26.
Ages 9-11 will practice from 6:00pm - 7:30pm. Ages 12-14 will practice from 7:30pm - 9:00pm.
