Through our TAG program at Urbandale High School, students are looking for a way to connect with the Urbandale community. We have decided to start a Fourth Grade Kids Club at Rolling Green Elementary. The students will learn different skills each week of the program in a fun atmosphere. An adult will be present at each session to ensure safety.
Snacks will be provided as well (please list any allergies) in the *Special Accommodations section below.
The Deadline to do so will be March 12, 2015. The sessions will take place from 3:45 PM – 4:30 PM on the Fridays listed below.
April 3rd: Creative Day
This session will be a fun introduction to Kids Club and will include arts/crafts, music, storytelling, etc.
April 17th: Nutrition Day
This session will teach the students nutritional values through learning how to make healthy snacks they can make themselves.
April 24th: Sports/Hygiene Day
This session will teach the students important hygiene basics along with fitness through fun sports.
May 1st: Activity Day
Variety of stations set up to suit the interests of students. Some examples of stations would be hair, building, dancing, etc.
May 8th: Goodbye Party
We will recap the lessons learned from the previous weeks while playing games.
