This course introduces fundamental concepts of 2D Mobile Game development along some relevant mobile game projects for mobile platform for iOS, Android and Windows. A lecture/lab course format will be employed to provide hands-on experience and active learning techniques.
- Understand the key hardware components in a modern mobile devices and how mobile app is mapped to the mobile hardware.
- Identify the appropriate tools to build your mobile game
- Use a computer to solve problems by developing simple application and then implement them using a specific mobile programming language
- Understand and determine the computational complexity using simple game rules and game object’s behaviors
- Building an Mobile Game Scene fit on many mobile devices
