The camp will teach the basics of warm-up, stretching, and cool down, as well as give campers an insight into some of the types of workouts that cross country runners use. All fitness levels are encouraged to participate, as each participant will be allowed to train at their own pace. Games and fun activities will be included. (For students entering grades 4th – 8th).  Coach: Mel Green – UHS Girls Cross Country Coach and Staff.

YOUTH & MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY CAMP:

• DATES:  Monday, July 22 - Wednesday, July 24, 2024 (3 Sessions)
• TIME:  9:00 AM - 10:30 AM (Grades 4-8 | 2024-25)
• LOCATIONS: 
  • Urbandale Middle School & Lakeview Park (7701 Aurora Ave) or
  • Lions Park Gazebo (72ns St - Between Prairie and Aurora Avenue)
• DEADLINE TO REGISTER:  July 9, 2024
  • PLEASE NOTE: With Late Registration, there is NO Guarantee that the participant will receive a Camp Shirt.
• FEE:  $65.00 / participant ($70.00 after July 9)
